Garden City Pawn has been in business for over a decade! Thomas Blaine purchased the current store in 2008 from its former owner. Tom discusses the changes he’s seen in the industry in the past 10 years. “There have been a couple ups and downs over the last 10 years, including the gold rush that happened after the 2008 financial crash. The gold rush ended a few years ago and caused us to shift our focus a bit from buying gold to loaning more money.”
